A Hastings Garden Wedding – Abbie & Garth13 Jan, 2017

I knew from the onset that photographing Abbie and Garth’s Hawke’s Bay wedding was going to be amazing.  A lunchtime wedding set amongst the most gorgeous garden – I was in for a photographic treat.  And it didn’t disappoint.

The garden belongs to Abbie’s parents and was lovingly tended to in the lead up to the big day. The wedding date was set to coincide with the flowering of the white wisteria that gently framed the aisle.  It was truely magnificent.

There were many highlights for me during this day but the one that really stood out was the confetti cannon at the first kiss.  It was so fun!

I wish Abbie and Garth a wonderful life together. Thanks for the opportunity to join you on, what was, a stunning and fun wedding!

Oh… Let’s not forget all the awesome Hawke’s Bay vendors that did a top notch job to make this garden wedding spectacular.

Wedding celebrant Nichola Nicholson (who is always great to work alongside) did a great job with queuing the confetti cannon event.

Drinks with Darcy The Caravan Bar perfectly complemented the garden party atmosphere and setting. Darcy was well-loved and well-frequented by all the guests.

Organic Ash created the wedding cake. OMG it was sensational! I don’t normally get the opportunity to sample cakes at weddings, but I did this time. It tasted as good as it looked.

Miss Frou Frou (aka Suzanne Hardy Hair & Makeup) styled Abbie’s hair and provided the beautiful floral chandeliers that hung in the marquee.

Smooth tunes by Daniel and Hayley Munro.  These cool cats really added to the laid back atmosphere. They are talented professionals and lovely to listen to.

Oh the DRESS! Abbie looked stunning in the Pretty Things custom made wedding gown.

Thanks to Pipi Truck, everyone tucked into some yummy Pipi pizza.  A big thumbs up to the wait staff who delivered hot delish pizza to the guests in the marquee while the rain bucketed down.  And all served with a big smile on their dial.
